What is Green Glue?

How to Apply Green Glue to Drywall

The two layers of drywall, separated by the Green Glue Noiseproofing Compound, will form a sandwich-like structure that is effective at reducing sound transmission.
* It is recommended to seal the seams between sheets using drywall mud or a sealant. Be sure sealants do not protrude outside the plane of the drywall*
Step 4: Finally, finish the wall by applying sealant to the perimeter and around electrical outlets, being sure to seal any cracks where sound may escape. The area where the drywall meets the floor is a crucial place to add sealant because this spot does not get taped or mudded.
